About Caryn Isaacs
Caryn, patient advocate, healthcare expert, author & lecturer, is a true pioneer. As early as 1976, Caryn began using the term ‘Patient Advocate’ when she introduced the Healthline Directory of Participating Providers, to describe her role helping people find doctors and navigate their health plans. After several years in the corporate sector, starting a physician-owned HMO, starting (and running) various healthcare companies, Caryn founded GetHealthHelp, LLC, a Patient Advocate business.
